Our guides give you in depth looks to unique and off the beaten path places focusing on food, drink and meeting amazing people. We love the inspiration and ideas that we get from travel and hopefully are guides give you some inspiration as well.

Ahh London…. what to say about this ever changing city. Strolling around the different up and coming areas in London is always a guaranteed good time and always inspires us. However one can feel a bit overwhelmed when stepping out into the city as the vast choice and options are truly endless. We always love coming to this city whether its for a fashion conference, concert or show, or just having an amazing time with friends.

Here we have listed some of our favorite spots that we have enjoyed on our most recent visits and that you should check out next time you are in town. The focus is on areas in South and East London, our current favorite areas in the city right now. Let us know what your favorite London spots are!

South London

Peckham and Brixton

These areas have seen massive development and change over the years and our now cultural and food melting pots. It's an amazing mix of Afro-carribean fusion combined with young students and creative young professionals, and of course the old guard who have been in the area for decades. The sense of community and how the locals support the local businesses here is truly fascinating.

Peckham Levels - All round good time

Amazing place for inspiration, the amount of creativity and energy here is incredible. And to think that this used to an underused car park! Walk around and talk to the inspiring artists and creatives, while enjoying the huge food and drink offering.

Watch a movie at PeckhamPlex for under 5 pounds. Try finding that anywhere else in London. Also of course Check out Franks Roof Terrace for breathtaking views and sunset drinks.

There is allot happening in Brixton and we just love the vibes here.

From Brixton Market to Electric Avenue you can find cool little boutiques, shops and stalls here. Stop first a Brixton Market Village where you can literally eat your way around the world, the options are endless and the characters there entertaining!

The Keep Boutique - Sustainability 101

for sustainable fashion at its best. High quality clothing that lasts and that you..KEEP.  Coming here will really show you the way fashion is meant to be done and open up a world of craftsmanship you didn't know existed.

POP Brixton - Open air vibes

This place is all about the community, it is full of young new businesses run by mostly locals. Once unWith a local radio station running out of one of the many containers, surrounded by great small restaurants and bars, the atmosphere here is very special. Always lots going on with pop-up events, live music and more. This place won't be around forever so stop by and enjoy it while you can!

Naughty Piglets - Best neighborhood Resto!

is an incredible local spot and a must try. From ambiance to the extensive wine list to the ever changing and delicious menu. The service and food level here always impresses and makes me want to try and make some of their creative dishes at home.

Phonox - What clubbing used to be like

Amazing club that goes back to basics.  The venue is intimate, you are close to the DJ and your fellow dancers. 1 DJ, 1 dancefloor=FUN. The focus here is on the music and the DJs they bring in our top notch. On top of all that, very attentive staff and friendly bouncers (not the easiest to find in London). Also check out their awesome Sunday day parties. Have fun!

East London

Shoreditch and Hackney Wick

Even though areas like shoreditch are very well known, It still has a different vibe compared to other parts of the city.  And it's this vibe that keeps us coming back.

Shoreditch Boxpark - Best use of containers ever

One of the best places to spend an afternoon. This place is buzzing with small craft beer bars and delicious food spots. Downstairs find fantastic unique fashion brands and upstairs join the crowd of people having a great time. You will to!

Callooh Callay - Le Cocktail Bar

Amazing cocktails and all round good time. You can have a good chat with the bartenders and fellow drinkers. Quirky atmosphere and great music. A london bar done right! Check out their other bar Little Bat.

Gloria Italian- One of the best Italians in London

We love Italian food and this is where we get our fix! Delicious food, fair prices and fun place to have dinner. Super friendly staff and all round great experience. Make sure you save space for dessert...OOO...MMM...GGG. Buon appetito!

Queen of Hoxton - Rooftop Fiesta!

This summer check out the rooftop at this lively place. Margheritas, Mariachi, Tequilas,& Tacos. There will be loads of events and parties so check out their page to stay updated. Salud!

Hackney Wick

The canals in Hackney wick are truly unique. It is a place where one can feel relaxed and enjoy a drink in the sun. The calm while people walking along the canal or stopping at one of the many food and drink spots. You Could easily spend a whole day just hopping from one place to the next.

Crate Brewery- Pizza n Beer (pictured above)

Need we say more, this combo is fantastic, combined with the waterside location and with some Jazz music playing, it's a winning combo. Proper craft beer made on site, proper pizza in a brick oven. It gets packed but look around you and  Enjoy!

Triangle Store Hackney - 2 floors of beauty

The goods and products stocked here are of the highest class!

From homewares to skinware to cloths. You can pretty much get everything you didn't know you needed here. The place is run by a few friends and you really feel that when you step into the place. Happy shopping!

Where to stay: Meshugge Style!

Some of our Meshugge Favorites for accommodation in London:

Sunborn London- Im on a Boat!

If you are going to a convention at Excel, watching a concert at O2 or even just flying out of London City airport the next morning, look no further. For London standards very big rooms and some with a balcony. Anda again this hotel is a Yacht. Enough said.

Hoxton Hotel - Party in the lobby

Always love coming back to Hoxton, the style of the rooms and the general vibe around the hotel. During the day, enjoy a coffee and get some work done in the lobby along with the others which gives it a coworking space feeling, then stay long into the evening as the Dj starts playing music and the drinks start flowing.

The Exhibitionist Hotel-  Unique, Quirky, Meshugge!

This is such a special place, part hotel part art gallery. The pieces and design you see here you won't find elsewhere. The attention to detail is next level. Some rooms have balconies (very rare in London), others have jacuzzis with a TV. Check me in please!

Vicoria Inn Peckham - Become a Peckham Local

A lively place in a renovated building from the 1800s. The cozy at home feel that you get here starts with the friendly staff, from the pub downstairs and to the modern and comfortable rooms upstairs.
